Quantum walks do not like bridges

چکیده
We consider graphs with two cut vertices joined by a path one or edges, and prove that there can be no quantum perfect state transfer between these vertices, unless the graph has other vertex. achieve this result applying 1-sum lemma for characteristic polynomial of graphs, neutrino identities relate entries eigenprojectors eigenvalues, variational principles eigenvalues (Cauchy interlacing theorem, Weyl inequalities Wielandt minimax principle). see our as an intermediate step to broaden understanding how connectivity plays key role in walks, further evidence conjecture tree on four more admits transfer. conclude some open problems.

Compressed self-avoiding walks, bridges and polygons
We study various self-avoiding walks (SAWs) which are constrained to lie in the upper half-plane and are subjected to a compressive force. This force is applied to the vertex or vertices of the walk located at the maximum distance above the boundary of the half-space. In the case of bridges, this is the unique end-point. In the case of SAWs or self-avoiding polygons, this corresponds to all ver...
متن کاملQuantum Walks
Quantum walks can be considered as a generalized version of the classical random walk. There are two classes of quantum walks, that is, the discrete-time (or coined) and the continuous-time quantum walks. This manuscript treats the discrete case in Part I and continuous case in Part II, respectively. Most of the contents are based on our results. Furthermore, papers on quantum walks are listed ...
متن کاملQuantum Schrödinger Bridges
we develop a simplified version of a variational principle within Nelson stochas-tic mechanics that produces the von Neumann wave packet reduction after a position measurement. This stochastic control problem parallels, with a different kinematics, the problem of the Schrödinger bridge. This gives a profound meaning to what was observed by Schrödinger in 1931 concerning Schrödinger bridges: " M...
متن کاملQuantum walks and quantum computation
The field of quantum information applies the concepts of quantum physics to problems in computer science, and shows great potential for allowing efficient computation. In this thesis I concentrate on a particular quantum information theoretic tool known as the quantum walk. There are two widely studied versions of the quantum walk, the continuous time walk, and the discrete time walk. The discr...
